About Lady Lee Yoga
Who is Lady Lee Yoga?
Hi, I’m Shanon Lee-Cooper, the founder and lead instructor of Lady Lee Yoga.
I’m a Yoga Alliance Registered E-RYT 500, with advanced Yoga Alliance credentials in Children’s Yoga (RCYT) and Prenatal Yoga (RPYT). Alongside my yoga background, I’m a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, a Licensed Zumba® Instructor, a Licensed CIRCL Mobility™ Instructor, and a Senior (Level 2) Noom Mindset Coach. I also hold a Master’s Degree, which brings a multidisciplinary lens to my teaching—grounded in communication, critical thinking, and human development—that enhances how I design and lead every class. In each session, I bring a heart-centered approach—blending movement, mindfulness, and breath to support healing and balance from the inside out.

Lady Lee Yoga's Mission
Lady Lee Yoga is more than just a yoga practice—
Welcome to a heart-led space where movement inspires the pathway to healing, creativity meets connection, and every class is an invitation to grow. My mission is to help individuals of all ages build strength, find calm, and reconnect with their inner light through yoga, mindful fitness, and joyful living.
In addition to adult yoga and strength-based classes, I offer engaging kids yoga, kids fitness, and seasonal arts & crafts that spark creativity and confidence. You’ll also find fun, family-friendly recipes designed to nourish and bring people together. Lady Lee Yoga is a place for you and your family to stretch, breathe, play, and thrive—together.
Lady Lee Yoga's Backstory
Born to Move, Built to Teach
Shanon’s yoga journey began at age 16 after a traumatic illness forced her to pause all aerobic activity. Yoga not only helped her heal physically but also gave her the mental strength she needed. It became a powerful, peaceful space she could return to—and that’s the feeling she wants to share with you through Lady Lee Yoga. Yoga healed her both mentally and physically, and eventually gave her the strength to return to the aerobic fitness she had always loved.
Her passion for movement started early. As a little girl, she would beg to do Disney’s Mousercise every morning—those playful workouts sparked a deep love for fitness and fun. That early joy in movement naturally evolved into a love of teaching and helping others grow. She spent eight years as a middle school science teacher at a private school and also worked as a licensed substitute in PreK–12th grade classrooms in public schools. Today, she brings that same educational passion into her yoga and fitness offerings—through empowering adult classes and imaginative, engaging kids sessions. Through Lady Lee Yoga, she also shares fun recipe videos for kids and adults, along with creative arts and crafts projects that inspire connection and creativity for the whole family.

🐾 Meet Our Studio Cats
Salem & Maleficent
No visit to Lady Lee Yoga is complete without a little feline magic. Our beloved studio cats, Salem and Maleficent, are part of the heart and soul of our space.
Salem, our calm and wise 10-year-old black Persian, brings a grounding energy to every class. Whether he’s lounging in the sun or quietly observing your practice, his peaceful presence reminds us all to slow down and breathe.
Maleficent, our sweet and sassy 6-year-old Siamese, is often found weaving between yoga mats or joining in on stretches. She adds a spark of joy and lightness that makes every session feel more like home.
Together, they make Lady Lee Yoga feel like a cozy, welcoming sanctuary—where even our four-legged family members help create a peaceful and connected space.
